Journalists' Helpline

During the course of the Beijing Olympics this August, Play the Game for Open Journalism ran a helpline providing advice and counsel.

The helpline was set-up to provide emergency assistance to journalists who find themselves facing pressure from the authorities because of their work.

Although the Olypmics have now closed, journalists who encounter problems when reporting from China can still contact the IFJ on +32 2 235 22 00

Journalists with news of media rights violations can also contact the IFJ's Beijing media rights monitor Serenade Woo on +86 150 108 48490
